txt2stop is a trial of smoking cessation support via text messages run by the University of London. They are looking for 5000 volunteers to trial this new initiative.

To be considered just text SMOKE to 65151 and you will be called back. You won't be charged for text messages related to the txt2stop programme.

You can nominate a health care professional who has helped smokers quit for the European Stop Smoking Supporter 2008.

The trial is being run by researchers at the University of Cambridge and University College London.
