Youth Presenter Advisor, London, 20 hrs per week
(Fixed term contract until December 2012)

Are you energetic and good at engaging a youth audience? Are you able to support and empower young people to make healthy choices? QUIT Because is looking for an enthusiastic person to deliver smoking awareness work with young people in London and the South East.

Quit Because is the youth service at QUIT®, the charity that helps people quit smoking. We help young people of all ages make informed choices about tobacco use and provide support and advice to those who want to stop smoking.

You will have experience working with young people in groups and one-to-one. You will have the charisma and confidence to deliver lively, interactive presentations and projects about smoking in schools and other youth settings. You will need to be reliable and highly organised to deliver a programme of sessions across London and the South East.

This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver a national programme of innovative youth smoking cessation. Quit is an award winning charity and delivers its work across the UK and works to develop good practice internationally.

A clean driving license and willingness to travel around London and South East is essential. Reasonable expenses will be reimbursed, including mileage, but you will need your own car (insured for business travel).
