QUITLINE WINS TELEPHONE HELPLINES ASSOCIATION AWARD

The Quitline has received a prestigious national award from the Telephone Helplines Association.

BT Award

The Quitline was joint winner of the Award for research carried out by members which demonstrates the effectiveness of helpline work. QUIT's Chief Executive Steve Crone was presented with the award by Baroness Howarth OBE. Baroness Howarth expressed her support of QUIT's work.

QUIT is the national charity that helps smokers to stop and has already helped over 2 million smokers via its Quitline 0800 002200.

The Telephone Helplines Association has over 400 member helplines including Samaritans, Shelterline, ChildLine and CancerBACUP.
